We are a creative digital agency
We create unique digital experiences for some of the world’s biggest brands.
We create unique digital experiences for some of the world’s biggest brands.
BISSELL Online Shop
Now in our 7th year working with BISSELL in the UK, we have just revamped their online shop to make the most of ever growing online retail sales.
FUSE designed and developed the site to work with Magento’s open source ecommerce platform – a world leader in the field and used by brands such as Samsung, Nespresso and Ford, to name but a few. The platform allows for easy social integration and product reviews as well as a comprehensive reporting systems. So far, the results have been great and the shop is seeing its best sales ever.
Unilever - Axe Ecommerce Strategy
We are currently supporting the Deodorant category of Unilever in Ecommerce Strategy for global and regional brand managers.
Within this role, we have produced a best in show Ecommerce strategy presentation for Axe (Lynx in the UK) detailing how the brand can optimise their campaigns and their products within the sell phase of the online shopping experience, converting awareness to a sale.
Share Happy - Smile Machine
We were tasked with developing a Facebook application to tie in with Unilever’s Ice Cream category’s real life ‘vending machine’ activity (where consumers smile to activate the machine and receive an ice cream).
And so the Smile Machine was born! Our app allows users to customise their own Facebook photos with a range of funny props and then share the image with their friends. People can then vote & share their favourite pictures and there is a weekly prize for the winners. Now if that’s not Sharing Happy, we don’t know what is.
UEFA Grassroots App
The UEFA Champions League is the football world’s most prized possession. To celebrate this year’s final, UEFA and Top Trumps teamed up to create a fun, limited edition online game that would appeal to adults and children alike.
Football is a universal language and by using the statistics of all 53 member nations, UEFA was also able to use the Top Trumps game to raise awareness of its Grassroots Day – a global event which promotes participation in football, regardless of ability.
The link is now live on uefa.com, can you get to level 10?
Juicy Website
A truly creative and groundbreaking agency deserves something special for a website. It was with this mentality that we approached the design of a new website for BrainJuicer, the guys who are reinventing market research. We did two things – created a new employee called Brian Juicer to help guide users through the site, and built a content-managed web app that presents information in streams of bitesize clouds. Click here for the site, and don’t forget to try out the ‘My BrainJuice’ feature.
Skin
Unilever’s Skin category encompasses some of the world’s largest brands, so it’s important that all staff are well trained.
We looked beyond the mundane induction packs of old, choosing instead to develop an interactive site that takes users on a step-by-step journey through the whole Skin category in an hour and a half of edited and animated footage.
Clever scripting enabled our presenter to interact with the accompanying animations, whilst the ability to download content and view information in bitesize chunks ensures that the site will remain a valuable resource throughout an employee’s career.

Property Website
Allsop approached us to design and develop a new website for them, to include a tailor-made super-duper what-you-see-is-what-you-get Content Management System.
Apart from this CMS, the site also included building a new property database, working with the Google Maps API to display these properties and integrating with their Active Directory to pull out the People information.
Can You Handle It? Facebook App
Unilever’s fragrance goliath, Lynx, is celebrating the launch of their first ever Eau de Toilette – a concentrated version of their body spray – by asking the nation one simple question: Can you handle it?
We teamed up with Top Trumps to deliver guys the ultimate early Christmas present – an online game of Top Trumps featuring 30 hot girls. Limited edition packs of the Top Trumps cards were sent to the first 1,000 users to win the game.
The game went live in mid-December and all packs of cards had been claimed by the end of the month. In the words of one Facebook user – “You just gained 50 man points for sheer awesomeness.”
Get Behind the Mask Campaign
Our strategy for Tia Maria’s new campaign, Get Behind the Mask, is centred around a new facebook brand page. A mixture of ‘always on’ content, media from offline events and apps allow for a deep engagement with the brand.
Part of the brief also included the revamp of the Tia Maria brand site. We created a realtime 3D environment from 360 degree photography that we shot during the TV advert film shoot.
Behind the Mask – iPhone App
As part of our global digital campaign for Tia Maria, we wanted to reach our audience in their natural habitat. The solution? An iPhone app that lets you mask pictures of your friends, as well as a secret ‘augmented reality’ cocktail that can only be seen when the phone is pointed at special Tia Maria drinks mats.
Hundred Years of Hairstyles
This project started as an experiment to see if it was technically possible. It was, and by combining some careful motion tracking work with clever Flash code, we were able to build a web app which enables you to put your face into a video. Go on, see what you look like with the last Hundred Years of Hairstyles…
The most interesting part of this project was successfully achieving the synchronisation of a user’s image with the moving face of the actress in the video. The code uses around 1,500 individual position and rotation values that get read by the Flash application no less than 25 times a second. Phew!
Naught-E-Mail
Our steamy web app for Ann Summers lets you send your loved one a customised video message. Not only can you choose the sound effects, but the video presents your recipient’s name within the scene.
The most interesting part of this project was taking Rascal to the film shoot. He got mistaken for one of those fluffy boom microphones.
Bitesize
Using client approved storyboards we were tasked with animating 25 different language revision tutorials. They were in two tongues – German & Spanish. Luckily our Kate is fluent in Spanish, and our Brian was definitely a beginner in both languages by the time we had finished animating…
The most interesting part of this project was coordinating the whole office animating thousands of keyframes of animation.
Brand Website
The Brodericks Brothers are two Irish cooks who want to to sell their crazy concoctions to the world. We brought their personalities to life through this richly animated website, which included two short films and twitter integration.
The most interesting part of this project was eventually meeting the infamous brothers in the flesh! We got free cake bars and oversized t-shirts. They are both very funny.
Hair Profiler
We created an interactive hair profiler for the global launch of Dove Hair’s new Damage Therapy range. We built the profiler as a facebook app, web app and a touchscreen app, each of which we’ve localised for regions worldwide.
The most interesting part of this project was the development of a ‘Damage Therapy Matrix’ – a complex algorithm that sits behind the profiler, enabling it to recommend a product range based on a user’s input. It was also built so that the client for each region could tweak the matrix to push the ranges that are relevant to their market.
Spot The Ball
Our task was to rebuild one of the Football Pool’s most famous games. We introduced features such as ‘zoom’ and ‘heatmap’, as well as a brand new ball positioning tool.
The most interesting part of this project was integrating the application with the API so that it correctly handled all of the sensitive betting data (it was more interesting than it sounds – honest!).
As you may have gathered from our tagline, we are all about the people. We believe that by employing the most talented individuals, we will continue to produce inspirational teamwork.
